Grand Island Express is one of America’s most recognized and respected small refrigerated carriers. Serving more than 38 states in the eastern two-thirds of the U.S., Grand Island Express specializes in irregular route, temperature-controlled transportation and focuses on customers that require service-sensitive, time-critical performance. We also provide dry van services in a variety of markets.
In addition to temperature-controlled and dry van transport, Grand Island Express offers heavy-duty truck repair, sales, and service; truck and trailer wash and washout service; and load/trailer hostling.
The Fleet
Grand Island Express operates more than 140 power units and 300 semi trailers. We also have availability of storage trailers. The company tractors are on three-year trade cycles to ensure drivers are in the most advanced, up-to-date equipment possible. Our refrigerated trailer fleet is also kept extremely current and is equipped with GPS tracking and refrigerated temperature monitoring to comply with all current food safety regulations.
