2021 ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’
For the tenth consecutive year as best fleet, Grand Island Express was named one of the Top 20 Best to Drive For by the TCA for 2021. Learn more about the award here.

Grand Island Express was named one of the Top 20 Best to Drive For by the TCA for 2020 – it’s ninth consecutive year as best fleet.
2019 ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’

Grand Island Express also received the Grand Prize Safety Award for Small Carriers at the 81st TCA (Truckload Carriers Association) Annual Convention.
2018 ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’
Grand Island Express was honored for being in the 2018 Top 20 Best Fleets to Drive For, at the 80th Annual Truckload Carriers Association Convention in March of 2018.
2017 ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’
Grand Island Express won the 2017 ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’ Best Overall Fleet for Small Carrier. It’s quite an honor to receive this award. It means we are number one among all the small carriers at the TCA. This is our third time being named North America’s Best Small Fleet.
2016 ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’
This was Grand Island Express’ fifth year to qualify for this award.
2015 ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’
Grand Island Express was awarded our fourth consecutive year as being nominated in the top 20 for the ‘Best Fleets to Drive For’ from the TCA. We were honored to win the category as the ‘Best Overall Fleet for Small Carrier. This was our second time winning the Best Fleets top honor.

2018 TCA Fleet Safety Award
Grand Island Express received 2nd place for Safety in Excellence at the 2018 TCA Fleet Safety Awards. The top three winning companies in each of six mileage-based divisions had the lowest accident frequency ratios per million miles, annually.

Grand Island Express received 3rd place for Safety in Excellence at the 2017 TCA Fleet Safety Awards at the 80th Annual Truckload Carriers Association Convention.
